Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya is not a fan of Saturday’s boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
On Friday, De Las Hoya set an angry message towards Mayweather and McGregor.
“(Expletive) YOU #MayweatherVsMcGregor BOTH OF YOU ARE DISRESPECTING THE SPORT OF BOXING #CaneloGGG Sept 16th,” De La Hoya wrote on Twitter.
De La Hoya has never been shy about sharing his disdain for the fight between Mayweather and McGregor. He doesn’t like the fight due to McGregor having never fought in a professional boxing match, but yet he is still fighting one of the greatest boxers of all time.
De La Hoya is also promoting a highly anticipated boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin on Sept. 16.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
