Former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi continues to talk trash towards UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
On Monday, Malignaggi appeared on The MMA Hour and talked about rumors of him giving Floyd “Money” Mayweather information about McGregor. Prior to Mayweather’s fight with McGregor, photos emerged of Malignaggi hanging out at Mayweather’s gym.
“You think Floyd really needs the game plan to beat Conor McGregor?” Malignaggi said. “I mean, did you think Floyd had any other game plan besides just bringing the (expletive) out of him? Floyd’s only game plan was bringing the (expletive) out of him, that’s it.”
Ever since Malignaggi left McGregor’s training camp, he has taken every opportunity he can get to insult the UFC champion.
Malignaggi left McGregor’s training camp because he was upset about photos, and later videos, that were released showing McGregor landing shots on Malignaggi.
“The irony is that people jump to conclusions and they jumped to the wrong conclusion about this,” Malignaggi said about him giving information to Mayweather. “Didn’t they jump to the wrong conclusion about my sparring pictures and the sparring videos he put out? I said, ‘That’s ironic.’ That’s ironic that these bum groupies fall for it every single time.”
