Former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi may be willing to come out of retirement to fight UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Malignaggi traveled to Las Vegas to train with McGregor in order to help him prepare for his professional boxing debut later this month.
After a couple of sparring sessions, Malignaggi left McGregor’s camp because he wasn’t happy with the way he had been treated. Malignaggi was upset about photos that were released of McGregor landing damaging shots on the former boxing champion.
On Wednesday, Malignaggi answered numerous questions on Twitter about a potential fight against McGregor.
At first, Malignaggi said he didn’t have intentions of fighting McGregor, but as he answered more question, he started to hint that he would be willing to fight the UFC champion in his second boxing match.
On Aug. 26, McGregor will make his professional boxing debut against boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather in Las Vegas.
Was never the intention. I'm retired, let's get excited about #MayweatherMcGregor for now though as it's around the corner. https://t.co/tH3hb3mlEl

Lets worry #MayweatherMcGregor now. Honest though I don't see him in a hurry to return to MMA to fight Khabib who I think is his mandatory. https://t.co/3awyg6K8lR
