On Saturday, UFC strawweight Alexa Grasso earned a close decision win over strawweight contender Randa Markos.
At a UFC Fight Night in Mexico City, Grasso fought Markos in the co-main event. The two elite fighters fought in a back-and-forth battle for 15 minutes. In the end, the judges awarded Grasso a split decision victory.

This was the biggest win of Grasso’s UFC career. In her last fight, Grasso lost a decision to strawweight contender Felice Herrig. This was the first loss of her MMA career. She was previously unbeaten with nine wins.
Going into Saturday’s co-main event, Markos was coming off the biggest win of her MMA career. In her last fight, Markos won a decision against former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Carla Esparza.
