On Saturday, a new title challenger emerged in the UFC flyweight division.
In the main event of a UFC Fight Night in Mexico City, Sergio Pettis went to war with Brandon Moreno for 25 minutes.
At the end of the fight, Pettis earned a unanimous decision victory.
Moreno dominated in the first round, and had Pettis’ back for the majority of the round. However, Pettis used his letal striking abilities to win the rest of the fight.
With this win, Pettis has a strong claim to fighting the winner of the UFC 215 main event. At UFC 215, UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson will defend his title against Ray Borg.
Many of the best fighters in the world were watching Saturday’s main event and shared all of their thoughts on Twitter. Below, you can see what they had to say.

Sergio is killing it at range. Moreno needs to tie him up against the fence and change the dynamic.

Petrie rallied back after that first RD on his back. Showing that his talents a lot more developed, especially on the feet. #UFCMexcio
