UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor isn’t the only UFC star who has had success sparring against elite level boxers.
Recently, former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo sparred with Olympic boxer Lindolfo Delgado.
In the video below, you can watch Aldo and Delgado trade blows inside the boxing ring.
Aldo’s striking abilities are what led to him being the most dominant featherweight champion in MMA history.
With seven UFC title defenses, Aldo holds the record for the most consecutive title defenses in the UFC featherweight division. If you include Aldo’s WEC title defenses prior to joining the UFC, Aldo successfully defended his title in nine straight fights.
Aldo lost his featherweight title after getting knocked out by McGregor in 2015. After McGregor never defended the featherweight title, he was stripped of the championship. Aldo then went on to win the UFC title for the second time.
In his last fight, Aldo lost the title after losing to current UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway at UFC 212.
