UFC strawweight “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings wants a rematch against Paige VanZant.
Recently, it was revealed that VanZant will be moving up to the flyweight division in her next fight. She is expected to fight Jessica Eye at UFC 216 in October.
After hearing the news, Rawlings went to Instagram and said she wants a rematch against VanZant.
“I want my muther (expletive) rematch then,” Rawlings wrote on her Instagram page.
In Aug. 2016, VanZant earned an impressive knockout win over Rawlings in a strawweight fight.
During her time in the UFC, Rawlings has said on numerous occasions she wished the UFC would adopt a 125-pound division for women. She struggled to make the 115-pound weight limit for strawweight and is too small to fight at bantamweight.
This year, the UFC is adopting a female 125-pound division. The next season of The Ultimate Fighter will feature woman competing at 125 pounds. The winner of the tournament will win the inaugural UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship.
