ONE Women’s Atomweight Champion Angela Lee is set to make her next title defense.
At ONE Championship 65: Immortal Pursuit, Lee will defend her title against Mei Yamaguchi in a rematch from their title fight last year.
Lee and Yamaguchi fought in an exciting back-and-forth battle back in May 2016 at ONE Championship 42: Ascent to Power. After battling for 25 minutes, Lee earned a unanimous decision victory and became the inaugural ONE atomweight champion.
Yamaguchi is the only fighter Lee has not been able to submit inside the ONE cage. Lee is currently undefeated with eights wins. All of her wins, except for Yamaguchi, have come by submission.
Since winning the title, Lee has defended her championship on two separate occasions.
ONE Championship 65: Immortal Pursuit will take place Nov. 24 in Singapore. The event will also feature the final fight of ONE Welterweight Champion Ben Askren’s career. Following his title defense against Shinya Aoki, Askren claims he will retire from the sport.
