Heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has once again proven to be a massive draw.
Joshua is scheduled to defend his IBF and WBA heavyweight titles against Kubrat Pulev at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Oct. 28.
This week, tickets went on sale for Joshua’s next fight and over 70,000 tickets were sold within hours. With just a few tickets left, Joshua is guaranteed to yet again sell out a stadium.
In his last fight, Joshua sold out Wembley Stadium in London, England when he fought Wladimir Klitschko back in April. Joshua went on to win the fight by TKO in the 11th round.
“It was another incredible day at the box office for Anthony Joshua as he continues to cement his place as the biggest draw in world boxing,” promoter Eddie Hearn said.
“The support he receives from the British public is incredible and has been an integral part of his success. The fans will be in for a great night on October 28 and we thank them all for their support.”
