CM Punk Is Back In The Mix, Has A New UFC Fight

It appears former WWE star CM Punk will be making his return to the Octagon in the near future.

On Monday, Duke Roufus shared a photo of Punk after a training session on his Instagram account. In his caption, Roufus wrote that Punk was waiting on a fight confirmation.

Many people have been speculating whether or not Punk would ever fight again in the UFC after his disappointing debut.

In 2014, Punk left the world of professional wrestling and signed a contract with the UFC. Punk was signed by the UFC despite having never fought in an MMA fight in his life.

Last September, Punk made his MMA debut at UFC 203. In the first round of the fight, Punk was pummeled and submitted by Mickey Gall.

There is no word as of right now on when or who Punk will fight in his second MMA bout.

In his Instagram post, Roufus also announced that UFC lightweight John Makdessi has also begun training at his gym. Makdessi is also awaiting a fight confirmation from the UFC.
