Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub has officially got engaged to a beautiful anchor for FOX Sports.
Schaub’s new fiance, Joanna Zanella, covers the UFC for FOX Deportes. She has also worked as an actress in the past.
Zanella recently announced the couple’s engagement on her Instagram account.
“My whole life I waited for this moment. I want you pealing my oranges to game of thrones every single night until the earth runs out of Oranges! I said I Do!” Zanella wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for making it so special and very US! I love you (Brendan Schaub).”
In 2016, Schaub and Zanella gave birth to their first child.
Since retiring from the sport of MMA, Schaub has become one of the most recognizable personalities in the sport due to the success of his own podcast, and through appearances on Joe Rogan’s podcast as well.
Schaub retired from the UFC following a loss to Travis Browne in 2014. Schaub’s UFC career is highlighted by wins against Mirko Cro Cop and Matt Mitrione.
