The always classy Daniel Cormier found out today that he is once again the UFC light-heavyweight champion.
Cormier lost his title to Jon Jones in the UFC 214 main event, last month. However, Jones would go on to fail a drug test, and get his sample-B test flagged as well.
The California State Athletic Commission today overturned the Jones win as a result.
UFC President Dana White wasted no time in calling Cormier and giving him his belt back, and now D.C. has broken his silence on what he thinks about the latest in the scandalous life of Jon “Bones” Jones.
D.C. stated on Fox Sports 1,
“The reality is you can’t fail drug tests. You can pass 100 tests but you cannot fail one.
USADA says we wait for due process. But, what are we waiting for. They tested the A-sample they tested the B-sample. It’s unfair.
He has to fight it. This is a death sentence. This is a very expensive drug. It’s not going to be easily found in a supplement.”
Daniel Cormier stopped shot of bad mouthing Jon Jones, despite having every reason to.
