Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor performed in what may become the payday of his career on Aug. 26. Inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., Conor McGregor made his boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather Jr. After a ten round war, Floyd Mayweather Jr. put his opponent away with a technical knockout victory.
While McGregor lost the fight, many fighters and fans are concerned that the UFC lightweight champion may never make another appearance inside the octagon again.
As heard in the video below, former UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier explains that he does not see how Conor McGregor could be convinced to return to the UFC for potentially less than a third of the payday.
