Many pro-wrestling fans are fine with the fact that the world of wrestling is not real. Still, many have often asked the question “Can some of these WWE moves actually work?” Now a mixed martial arts fighter has apparently decided to answer that question.
In a recent bout under the promotion Full Contact Contender, one mixed martial artist applied the famous WWE wrestling move the “Boston Crab.”
With his opponent face down on the mat, the mixed martial artist wrangled his opponent’s legs under his arms and pulled back. Stressing his opponent’s spine, the fighter eventually got the finish.
So, yes, pro-wrestling is still fake. That being said, it would appear that some of the WWE’s most famous moves may actually function inside an MMA cage. For this fighter, the “Boston Crab” was the best option.
