This weekend, one of the most highly anticipated boxing matches of the year will take place when Canelo Alvarez fights Gennady Golovkin.
On Friday, Canelo and Golovkin will weigh-in for their middleweight fight. In the video below, you can watch the weigh-ins live starting at 3:30 p.m. EST.
Canelo will fight Golovkin, also known as Triple G, on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Their fight will have multiple boxing titles on the line including The Ring, IBF, and WBA middleweight championships.
Both Canelo and Golovkin are world champions in boxing and are considered to be two of the most devastating pound-for-pound punchers in the sport.
Canelo enters this fight with an impressive 49-1-1 record with 34 of his wins coming by knockout. He is currently on a seven-fight win streak with his only loss being a majority decision to Floyd “Money” Mayweather in 2013.
Golovkin has a perfect boxing record of 37-0 and has managed to knock out 33 of his opponents.
