Partying in Cabo, taking shots of Tequila.
That’s what Nate Diaz was doing prior to his first fight with Conor McGregor.
With the UFC needing a star to headline against Conor, who lost his original opponent in RDA with just two weeks left before the fight, Nate Diaz took the UFC’s call from his yacht in Mexico and agreed to take the fight.
It was a short-notice fight that not only broke the UFC’s pay-per-view record, but also broke Conor McGregor’s winning streak wide open too.
In the bout Nate became the only man to beat Conor McGregor in the UFC.
The two later rematched, and Conor picked up a majority decision win.
Now, the two are expected to meet in December for the final bout in a trilogy, and Conor fans should be scared.
That’s because Nate is already in the gym sharping his skills, and we’re months out from any fight.
