On a previous edition of The MMA Hour, UFC lightweight contender Kevin Lee decided to share some heated words on the topic of fellow fighter Mickey Gall. To say the least, Lee was not impressed with the fighter. Now, Mickey Gall has come forward with a comment on Kevin Lee. For Mickey Gall, it might be time to throw down.
Appearing on The MMA Hour, Mickey Gall explained:
“I’d like to challenge [Kevin Lee] to a straight fight in the gym. I saw him slide into (Tony) Ferguson’s DMs trying to do that. I’d like him to slide into mine, and I’d like to get a little no-limit fight with him. We’ll call it a spar. Maybe he could get daddy Mayweather to guest sponsor him, we could bet some money. I don’t know. He’s got something on, what, [October] 7th? I’ve got something the next month (November) on the 4th. We could figure that out somewhere.”
Finishing his thoughts on the matter, Mickey Gall added:
“He’s talking sh*t, man. He’s too comfortable using my name. I think he’s got talent, but I’d f*ck him up. We’re both in different places in our career, but we could fight in the gym anytime. Whatever he wants. No rules. F*ck it, let’s fight.”
While Mickey Gall may not be taking on Kevin Lee in the immediate future, both fighters have their own match ups to prepare for.
Mickey Gall will take on Randy Brown at UFC 217 on Nov. 4. Kevin Lee will get a shot at the UFC interim lightweight title in a fight against Tony Ferguson at UFC 216.
