UFC welterweight prospects Mickey Gall and Randy Brown are set to collide at UFC 217.
On Tuesday, Newsday announced that Gall will fight Brown in New York City.
Gall is currently undefeated with four victories, three of which have taken place inside the Octagon. In his last fight, Gall submitted Sage Northcutt back in December. In his previous fight, Gall submitted former WWE champion CM Punk. All of Gall’s four MMA wins have ended with Gall earning a submission win via rear-naked choke.
Brown currently has a 9-2 MMA record, with a 3-2 record in the UFC. He is coming off a decision loss to Belal Muhammad in February. Brown’s UFC wins have come against Brian Camozzi, Erick Montaño, and Matt Dwyer.
UFC 217 will take place Nov. 4 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The event will feature three title fights. UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping will defend his title against Georges St-Pierre in the main event. Also, UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt will defend his championship against TJ Dillashaw and UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will fight Rose Namajunas.
