In 2013, Adrien Broner did a lot more than just defeat Paulie Malignaggi inside the boxing ring.
After earning a split decision against Malignaggi, Broner bragged about not only taking Malignaggi’s WBA title, but he also bragged about taking Malignaggi’s girl.
“I’m good. I beat Paule. I left with his belt and his girl,” Broner said in his post-fight interview.
After Broner talked about taking Malignaggi’s girl, the former boxing champion came up to him and asked him not to make things personal.
“Don’t brag about taking my side piece,” Malignaggi yelled while he and Broner were being separated.
