Former UFC title challenger Henry Cejudo earned his first knockout win inside the Octagon on Saturday night.
At UFC 215, Cejudo fought fellow former title challenger Wilson Reis.
Even thought Cejudo is known for his superb wrestling abilities, Cejudo showed improved striking in his fight with Reis.
In the first round, Cejudo was the superior striker and landed numerous clean shots throughout the round.
At the start of round two, Cejudo landed a devastating punch that dropped Reis. Cejudo then swarmed Reis with strikes until the referee stepped in and stopped the fight. In the end, Cejudo earned a knockout win just 25 seconds into the second round.
With this impressive performance, Cejudo has once again proved why he is one of the top contenders in the flyweight division. If he continues to perform like he did Saturday, Cejudo is on the path to once again fighting for the title.
