The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) took to Edmonton, Canada last night for another exciting night of fights. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion hosted UFC 215. In the night’s main event, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes was set to defend her title from returning contender Valentina Shevchenko.
After five technical rounds of combat, Nunes retained her title by way of split decision. The contentious call has since come under scrutiny by many fighters and fans. Now, some of the UFC’s competitors have gone to Twitter to express their distaste for the official decision.
I think @BulletValentina won that fight. #ufc215

Only thing clear about main event fight decision was that it was a close fight. #UFC215

3-2 Valentina Shevchenko. Could it be 4-1 each cage/ takedown in the 4th no punches thrown! #UFC215 #andnew
