UFC’s Paige VanZant had some fun during a recent photo shoot for Reebok.
Reebok is the official clothing sponsor of the UFC, and earlier this week, Reebok revealed some of their newest designs to the UFC fight kits.
VanZant, along with other UFC fighters, modeled the new gear. During the photo shoot, VanZant took a Justin Bieber like photo wearing all Reebok gear.
“Straight outta your girls DM,” VanZant wrote on Instagram in the photo’s caption. Below, you can see VanZant’s latest photo.
At just 23 years old, VanZant is one of the most popular fighters in the UFC. Despite being so young, VanZant has managed to be one of the top contenders in the women’s strawweight division.
VanZant has fought six times inside the Octagon and has competed against some of the best women competing at 115 pounds. In he UFC, VanZant has earned impressive wins against Kailin Curran, Felice Herrig, Alex Chambers, and Bec Rawlings.
VanZant’s only losses have come against some of the top contenders in the UFC strawweight division. Prior to joining the UFC, VanZant lost a decision to Tecia Torres. Both of her UFC losses came by submission. In Dec. 2015, VanZant was submitted by former UFC title challenger Rose Namajunas. Last December, VanZant was submitted by Michelle Waterson.
Despite being ranked No. 10 in the official UFC women’s strawweight rankings, VanZant will be moving up to the flyweight division in her next fight.
On Oct. 7, VanZant will make her 125-pound debut when she fights Jessica Eye at UFC 216 in Las Vegas. Eye will also be making her flyweight debut in the UFC, but she is moving down from the bantamweight division.
VanZant vs. Eye will be one of the first flyweight fights to take place in the UFC. Earlier this year, the UFC announced that they were adopting the new weight class.
