UFC 215 took place on Saturday night, and once again, the UFC put on an event full of intriguing matchups.
Undefeated featherweight prospect Gavin Tucker faced possibly his toughest challenge in the UFC when he fought Team Alpha Male’s Rick Glenn.
The fight started with Tucker being aggressive and he almost got caught in a choke. Tucker escaped and both fighters began trading strikes. As the round went on, Tucker continued to land wild shots, but Glenn stayed in front of him and continued to throw offense of his own. Glenn dropped Tucker late in the round, but Tucker quickly got back to his feet.
Both fighters came out swinging to start the second round. Glenn managed to get Tucker on his back. Tucker went for a leg lock but ate multiple punches. Tucker fought to his feet, but Glenn continued to land hard shots. Glenn landed multiple takedowns in the first half of the round. As the round went on, Glenn continued to dominate Tucker on the ground.
At the start of the final round, both fighters landed punches early. Glenn got the better of the early exchanges and controlled Tucker. Glenn landed a takedown and began to smother Tucker on the ground. Tucker tried to fight, but Glenn continued to unload shots on the ground. Eventually, the referee stepped in and stopped the fight.
