The UFC has announced three new fights that will take place at the next UFC Fight Night event in Brazil.
On Thursday, the UFC confirmed that Brazilian fighters Hacran Dias, Elizeu “Capoeira” Zaleski, and Luan Chagas would all compete in their home country.
Dias will fight Jared Gordon in an intriguing featherweight matchup. Dias is on a two-fight losing streak and is coming off losses to Andre Fili and Cub Swanson. Gordon is on a four-fight win streak going into the biggest fight of his career.
Zaleski will fight Max Griffin in a welterweight showcase. Zaleski is on a three-fight win streak inside the Octagon, while Griffin is coming off a first round knockout victory.
Lastly, Chagas will fight Niko Price in a welterweight battle. Chagas is coming off a submission win back in June, while Price is currently undefeated with 10 wins.
This UFC Fight Night event will take place Oct. 28 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event will be headlined by a pivotal middleweight battle featuring former UFC champion Lyoto Machida and Derek Brunson.
