Word on the streets in Las Vegas is that with 30-minutes left until cut off time, Kevin Lee is still trying to shed his last few pounds to make his championship fight against Tony Ferguson official.
Lee confessed during yesterday’s UFC 216 media day, that he had 19-pounds left to cut, and just 20 hours to do it in.
For UFC championship bouts fighters are not allowed the 1 pound allowance, meaning Lee must hit 155 on the mark, or less, or he will lose his shot at a UFC world title.
UFC 216 goes down tomorrow night from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Here’s some confirmation of these rumors. There’s still hope though…
46 mins to go. Kevin Lee not here yet. Sources close to him confident he'll make weight but it appears as though he's still working on it. Ferguson has already made 155. We're live right now: https://t.co/AymCYU6d0I

Still awaiting Kevin Lee, who has 50+ minutes to weigh in for UFC interim LW title fight. But if you know Lee's history, you aren't worried.
