Fight fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting to hear what is next for UFC superstar Conor McGregor. “Notorious” suffered a TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. earlier this summer, bringing an abrupt end to McGregor’s boxing world takeover. McGregor recently went to social media to hint that newly crowned UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is next on his list. SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh followed up the message with his traditional “here we go again” that he always states alongside McGregor’s fight reveals.
With a title unification fight between reigning champion Conor McGregor and interim title holder Tony Ferguson now looking more likely than ever, fighters and fans have been offering their thoughts on the match up over social media. Among them, UFC welterweight “Platinum” Mike Perry has come forward with his opinion on the match up.
Taking to Twitter, Perry revealed that he believes McGregor will have little trouble against “El Cucuy.”
“I think it’s an easy win for @TheNotoriousMMA.”
