It would appear that mixed martial arts veteran and former UFC champion Rashad Evans will not be retiring after all.
Evans is currently on a losing streak, having faced a loss in his last four fights. That being said, Evans is not backing down. In a recent interview with MMA Fighting, Evans explained his drive to compete.
“I can’t retire like this. I would never know peace again in my life. Endless nights I would be left looking at the ceiling unable to accept reality.”
Evans made a transition to the middleweight division earlier this year, but is now planning on making a move back to his native light heavyweight class.
“I have to talk that over, but I feel like at 205 I had more energy.”
