Last Saturday in Brazil, rising UFC welterweight fighter Colby Covington put himself in a situation that required a dominant performance over the top ranked Demian Maia.
That’s because in the lead up to the bout, Covington promised nothing short of dominance.
And while he was relatively dominant in the bout, his remarks after defeating Maia sent the fighting world, and Brazil, in a frenzy.
Now everyone, from UFC officials, to his own teammates at American Top Team are speaking out against the top UFC welterweight.
