In one of the most anticipated bouts in Poland, Team Alpha Male’s Andre Fili took on SBG’s Artem Lobov in the UFC’s featherweight division.
In round one it was all Fili who picked apart Lobov with his reach from the outside. In the final 30-seconds of the round, Fili dropped a bloodied up Lobov with a head kick, followed that up with ground and pound, but “The Russian Hammer” recovered and we went to round 2.
In round 2 the exchanges were more even, But Fili was able to drop Artem once more, and came up on most of the exchanges. Artem had his moments and is still in the fight as they move to round 3.
In round three Fili took the fight to the mat at the minute mark. Lobov and Fili would transition another time from strikes to ground work, but the third was a dominant one for Fili, who walked away with this one.
