Back in May of this year, eight fight UFC veteran Nick Catone hit his social media to announce to the world that his young son had passed away.
In a short, yet emotionally deep statment Nick stated, “Today is the worst day of my life. I am absolutely devastated!”
In the coming days, weeks and months we would learn that Catone believes it was a vaccine that lead to the untimely death of his young son.
The family then created a GoFund me page that detailed the child’s passing.
It read, On Thursday, May 11, Nick Catone tucked his healthy, beautiful little boy Nicholas into bed to the sound of him saying ” Goodnight Daddy”. In the morning, Marjorie Catone went to wake the baby who lit up every second of her life- the little light filled spirit who made everything worthwhile. And in that moment, everything shattered. Nicholas simply did not wake up.
And now, just a few days ago, Nick himself released an emotional letter to his son in heaven, and it’s so tragically touching you might need to go grab some tissue before proceeding.
Check it out:
Today after I picked up your sister from school we were in the car and she said Dad I think I see Nicholas.
I said where. She said up there in the clouds by the sun, I see him that’s where the angels are right?
I said yes Nicholas is an angel now and he’s always watching us as I’m trying not to get too upset in front of her. I said I really miss Nicholas as I looked up at your picture on my visor, she said me too can we go see him one day.
I said yes we will get to see him one day up there but not for awhile, one day we will all be together again. Life is so hard now without you Nicholas. Your sister misses you and I feel so bad she just doesn’t understand.
Worst feeling in the world I have to face day after day. I love and miss you so much. Goodnight Nicholas
Our thoughts go out to the Catone family, and all families across the world who have suffered in this way.
R.I.P. little man.
