Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ace turned bonafide MMA prospect Mackenzie Dern is set to return to MMA action this Friday night at LFA 24.
Set to make her flyweight debut, the athlete will be moving up in weight, where she’s expected to perform better.
Dern has a history of struggling on the scales, so everyone is hopeful the additional 10 pounds means this Thursday’s weigh-ins will go off without any complications.
LFA 24 goes down from the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix. The fight card airs on AXS TV. Dern faces Mandy Polk at 125 pounds.
