Former UFC title challenger “Alpha” Cat Zingano hasn’t seen a return to action since her July, 2016 loss to Juliana Pena.
The once dominant female fighting force has now dropped two straight fights, the first two losses of her career.
Though mostly inactive, Cat has fought only Ronda Rousey and the aforementioned Pena, since 2015.
That’s all changing now though.
A change in camp and a move to California would see Zingano take up arms with MMA’s top female camp at Alliance MMA.
Now, with a stable of succesful female training partners, Zingano is ready for her long-awaited UFC return, and she’s apparently already agreed on the opponent, date and time.
Taking to her Instagram, Zingano announced the news:
I have who. I have where. I know when. It’s time. #teamalphacat #alphacatzingano #catzinganomma #acz #ufc #fightlife
Any guesses? We guess Cris Cyborg!
