Angela Magana Is Full-Contact Sparring With Men Ahead Of Saturday’s Return To The UFC

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be heading to Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, Dec. 2, for another exciting series of fights. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion will be hosting UFC 218 inside the Little Caesars Arena.

The event will include more than a few exciting match ups. Among them, UFC strawweights Amanda Cooper and Angela Magana will face off for division dominance. Magana is coming off of a loss to Michelle Waterson, having not competed since 2015. Cooper suffered a submission loss to Cynthia Calvillo at UFC 209, putting the fighter at 2-3 in her mixed martial arts career.

That all in mind, it would appear that Magana has been training with male fighter as she prepares for UFC 218.

Here’s what Magana said via her Facebook page.

“Picked up sick boxing skills in the last year living in #puertorico thanks to Nelson Colon and my coach Gabriel Lamastus.” Magana said on her social media. “My #boxing is going to shine at #ufc218 #boxeo #prselevanta coming for you Amanda Baby Pooper, and she says she is pro.”
