It would appear that Ronaldo Souza has been offered a fight for his next big octagon performance. This time, the mixed martial artist has accepted a chance to take on knockout artist Derek Brunson.
“Jacare” recently took to Twitter to reveal that he has been offered a fight with Brunson at UFC Fight Night 125. The event goes down February 3 in Belém, Brazil.
“UFC offered me Derek Brunson to fight on February 3rd at UFC FN 125, Belem do Para, Brazil. I already agreed to fight on Belem do Para, Brazil, now is up to Derek Brunson, I hope he doesn’t come up with escuses about the location and date of event. @ufc”

“Jacare” will be looking to pull himself out of a recent TKO loss to Robert Whittaker from UFC on FOX 24. On the other hand, Brunson is currently riding a two fight winning streak inside the octagon. The fighter earned his second consecutive first round knockout victory at UFC Fight Night 119, when the fighter took out former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida.
