UFC megastar Conor McGregor attempted to take over the world of boxing on Aug. 26. The fighter made his professional boxing debut inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. in a super-fight against undefeated pugilist legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. While McGregor suffered a TKO loss, the UFC lightweight champion still walked away with the payday of his career from the pay-per-view buy record breaking performance. Now, other boxers are coming out of the wood work to challenge “Notorious.”
Former boxing champion Pauli Malignaggi has had some bad blood with the UFC champion as of late. Now the retired pugilist has taken to Twitter to roast Conor McGregor another time. Malignaggi stated:
“I get it now. 4oz gloves wouldn’t matter to me it’d be Conor going to sleep not me.” said Malignaggi on his social media. “He can’t match hand skills. After seeing Conor box n have no power the only obvious thing is that in 4oz gloves anyone can punch it’s not some special quality. Cause 8oz gloves are small as is.”
