UFC 218 goes down Saturday night, Dec. 2, inside the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be hosting a collection of entertaining octagon performances on the night’s fight card.
In the main event, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will be going toe-to-toe with former champion Jose Aldo in a greatly anticipated rematch. The two fighters first threw down at UFC 212, with Holloway unifying his interim title with a TKO victory over Aldo. Now the two will be fighting for the title once again, this time for the Detroit crowd.
In another exciting fight on the live pay-per-view card, former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez will be going toe-to-toe with Justin Gaethje in a battle between the two coaches from The Ultimate Fighter season 26. Alvarez and Gaethje are both known for their exciting styles so this fight is one of the most anticipated on the stacked fight card.
In anticipation of the event, Alvarez has offered a video of himself sparring ahead of UFC 218. Check out the video below to see the former champion battle it out in his training.
