The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is setting up for an awesome night of fights. The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion will have fight fans flocking to the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday night, Dec. 2 for UFC 218. The highly anticipated fight night will feature an exciting title fight rematch main event. UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will go toe-to-toe with Jose Aldo for the headliner. Holloway unified his interim title at UFC 212 with a dazzling TKO finish over Aldo, but now “Scarface” has returned to fight for the title once again.
While a title is not on the line in the co-headliner for UFC 218, division supremacy just might be. Tough heavyweight contenders Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou will be throwing down for the Detroit crowd in the co-main event, as Ngannou has yet to be defeated inside the octagon.
Speaking on his podcast, longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan has decided to come forward with his break down of the night’s co-main event. Check out what Rogan had to say about Overeem’s chances against Ngannou in the video below:
