Former UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate recently appeared on an AMA to answer some questions from fight fans. During the AMA, the former fighter was asked which male UFC competitor she considered to be the best looking of all time.
Out of the entire history of UFC rosters, fight fans offered Tate the choices of Luke Rockhold, Alan Jouban, Michael Bisping, Georges St-Pierre, Vitor Belfort and Paulo Costa. However, Tate decided to select another option.
Tate responded to the question, “None of the above — Josh Thomson.” Now Thomson has come forward with a response of his own. Speaking to MMA Imports through text message, the former Strikeforce lightweight champion in Thomson offered his response to being chosen by the former UFC bantamweight champion.
Here is Thomson’s response:
“Millions of guys around the world would do anything to just hear her speak their name so obviously I feel honored and thankful that she thought of me when I wasn’t even on the list she was presented with. I’ve had the opportunity to spend time with her over the years from autograph signings, fighting on the same cards, training together and just hanging out at events. She’s an amazing beautiful person, inside and out. Thank you Miesha!”
