The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is getting ready to put on another exciting show for fight fans. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion is gearing up for UFC 218. With that in mind, former champion Eddie Alvarez has decided to offer his fight fans an update on his weight cut.
UFC 218 goes down Saturday, Dec. 2, inside the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The main event is set to see UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway defend his title from former title holder Jose Aldo in a highly anticipated rematch. That being said, the night’s headliner is not the only exciting fight on the upcoming fight card.
Also on the night’s pay-per-view card, former champion Eddie Alvarez will be facing off against fellow The Ultimate Fighter 26 coach Justin Gaethje. Taking to Instagram, Alvarez recently offered his fight fans a look at how his weight cut is going. In the picture below, Alvarez can be seen looking as fit as ever.
“Getting closer !! Weigh ins in a couple days #eafight # thnq #ufc218” said Alvarez on his social media.
