Robert Whittaker Calls Out GSP, But Does It In The Nicest Way Possible

Georges St. Pierre has finally returned to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The fighter went on a lengthy hiatus from mixed martial arts after successfully defending his welterweight title from Johny Hendrix back in 2013. Nearly four years later, “Rush” made his big octagon return at UFC 217 on Saturday night.

Moving up in weight, St-Pierre headlined the highly anticipated event in a title fight against middleweight champion Michael Bisping. In the third round, St-Pierre managed to choke out his opponent with a rear-naked choke for the title earning victory. That being said, Robert Whittaker still holds the interim middleweight title. Now the fighter has taken to Twitter to call out the French Canadian phenom.

Here is what Whittaker had to say:

“Thx for a gr8 week NY. @danawhite @bisping @GeorgesStPierre wat
an amzing fight! GSP lets unify anywhere anytime. B an honor champ #anywhere”
