When the UFC announced their plans to introduce the women’s flyweight division to their promotion, popular UFC strawweight veteran “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings was the first to throw her name in the hat.
The Australia based fighter has long been outspoken about the difficulties making the UFC’s 115 pound division, and the tax the weight cut has on not just Bec, but other female fighters.
Now, less than two-weeks from fight night, and “Rowdy” checks in with her fans with an update on how the cut to the new division is going.

Bec Rawlings was originally scheduled to face Joanna Calderwood at UFC Sydney next week. Calderwood has since withdrawn from the bout, an Bec has accepted a replacement opponent.
