A welterweight clash with implications towards title talks was just made public for the UFC’s upcoming February 24th card.
According to The Los Angeles Times’ Lance Pugmire, the UFC has booked welterweights Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and Darren Till to a fight.
Thompson, a former UFC title challenger, returned to action this past weekend in a dominant, one-sided performance over the very game Jorge Masvidal. Thompson was able to out-strike the very game Masvidal and earn a three round decision victory at UFC 217.
The undefeated Till is a rising prospect who just burst into the welterweight spotlight with his recent quick stoppage over Donald Cerrone.
Here’s Pugmire’s breaking reveal of the fight:
The date is Feb. 24 for Till-Wonderboy.
