Detroit, Michigan is set to feature an entertaining night of fights on Saturday, Dec. 2, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) prepares for its next event. Fight fans will be flooding into the Little Caesars Arena and tuning into the live pay-per-view for UFC 218, as the mixed martial arts promotion has set up an exhilarating night of fights.
In the night’s main event, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will be looking to defend his title as he faces off against Jose Aldo in a highly anticipated rematch. That being said, UFC 218 has more exciting fights to offer than just the main event.
Co-headlining the show, UFC heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou will throw down for division supremacy. Overeem is riding a two fight winning streak, having most recently earned a tough majority decision victory over former champion Fabricio Werdum at UFC 213. Ngannou, on the other hand, has yet to be defeated inside the octagon and is currently on a nine fight winning streak.
In promotion for the night’s exciting co-main event, the UFC has offered “UFC 218 Countdown: Overeem vs Ngannou.” Check it out in the video below:
