The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another exciting night of fights. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion is preparing for UFC 218. The event is set to go down Dec. 2 inside the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan and will feature a series of exciting events. With the entertaining night of fights now just over a week away, the mixed martial arts promotion has decided to reveal an extended preview of the exhilarating event.
UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway unified his interim title with a stunning TKO victory over Jose Aldo at UFC 212. Following the event, Holloway was set to defend his title from Frankie Edgar. However, Edgar has since been pulled from the event due to an injury. Now Jose Aldo has stepped up on short notice to fight once more for the featherweight title.

Also on the card is a heavyweight clash between Alistair Overeem and fast rising contender Francis Ngannou and an exciting lightweight fight between Eddie Alvarez and Justin Gaethje.
