Paige VanZant was set to make her debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s new flyweight division at UFC 216. However, the fighter was pulled from her fight against Jessica Eye after suffering injuries.
Since the fight removal, VanZant has gone on to claim that she will now be taking on the UFC flyweight next. Former bantamweight title contender Valentina Shevchenko has taken to Twitter to let “12 Gauge” know that she now has her sights set on VanZant.

Jessica Eye later took to social media to offer some heated words on the fighter.
“@BulletValentina Good luck getting her to respond. She like to bark up trees and then pull back her words and her signature! she got beat up by your teammate rose she can’t hang with you or these flyweights”
