New York hosted an exciting night of fights on Saturday, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) provided UFC 217 in the illustrious Madison Square Garden Arena. The stacked fight card feature three different title fights, one of which included the octagon return of Georges St-Pierre.
Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre faced off against UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping in the main event of the night. Fellow former UFC welterweight champion and former opponent to St-Pierre, Johny Hendricks faced off on the night’s main card as well.
For his performance, the fighter went toe-to-toe with Paulo Costa. The former champion gave out some powerful punches of his own, but was ultimately finished in the second round by the fighter.
