Fight fans made their way to Sydney, Australia for Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night 121. The event went down inside the Qudos Bank Arena on Nov. 18 and featured a collection of exhilarating performances.
The night’s main event was a heavyweight brawl between former champion Fabricio Werdum and Marcin Tybura. Werdum stepped up on short notice after Mark Hunt was pulled from the night’s headliner.
Werdum had just earned a dominant first round submission victory over Walt Harris in Oct. However, the former champion’s battle in Sydney went all five rounds.
After getting into a five round war with Tybura, Werdum walked away with a unanimous decision victory. Now fighters are taking to social media to express their thoughts on the matter. Check out what many UFC competitors had to say in the Twitter posts below:
If @FabricioWerdum comes out with a Boomerang in hand I think he should get an immediate title shot next win or lose! @ufc

Tybura just didn’t pick up on how bad he had Werdum hurt. Opportunity missed there in the 5th #UFCSydney
