The UFC’s year end show for 2017, UFC 219, is already about as stacked as they come, and the promotion has yet to announce a headliner for their annual mega-card.
That could all change this week though, as the Los Angeles Times is reporting that UFC President Dana White is keeping that headliner slot open for his lightweight champion Conor McGregor, and expects to have an announcement by the end of this week.
No word on Conor McGregor’s next move has been made public. McGregor is still circling around a few different options, while UFC president Dana White insists he’ll fight Tony Ferguson next.
With the fight against Nate Diaz still looming too, it’s a real exciting time for Conor McGregor fans.
Here’s what the L.A. Times is reporting:
“Dana White says he’ll hash out the UFC 219 main event for Las Vegas by the end of the week and said @TheNotoriousMMA return “will be in Vegas” and “could be” on that Dec. 30 date.”

Any guesses on if this will happen, and who the opponent could be?
