The UFC’s First Double Low Blow Just Happened, In “Bruce Lee Roy’s” Scrap In Shanghai

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has put another exciting night of fights in the books. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion made its debut in Shanghai, China for UFC Fight Night 122.

The event was initially set to feature former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and Kelvin Gastelum in the night’s headliner. However, Silva was pulled from the event after being flagged by USADA for a drug test failure. As a result, another former champion stepped up on short notice for the event.

Gastelum went toe-to-toe with Michael Bisping for the Shanghai crowd, ultimately earning a first round knockout over “The Count.” That being said, the UFC Fight Night main event was hardly the only exciting performance from the night.

Also on the night’s card, UFC bantamweights Alex Caceres and Guan Wang went toe-to-toe for division supremacy. In the end Wang earned a split decision victory over his opponent, but not before a rather odd occurrence took place inside the octagon.

The UFC’s first double low blow took place during the bantamweight brawl, leaving the Shanghai crowd stunned. Check out the unfortunate moment in the video above.
