Fresh off his UFC 217 win over Jorge Masvidal, the top ranked UFC welterweight Stephen Thompson has already called his next shot. Thompson was able to outstrike Masvidal for all three rounds and earn a unanimous decision victory in Madison Square Garden in New York City.
With his eyes set on the upcoming Lawler vs. RDA bout, set for December 16th’s UFC on FOX event, Thompson says he’ll fight either man, just give him one of them next. Thompson is looking to climb back into title contention and earn another crack at the UFC welterweight title.
Both Robbie Lawler and Rafael dos Anjos are former champions, which would be a big win on the resume for the karate based striker in Thompson.
“Give me the winner or loser of Lawler vs RDA,” said Thompson after his UFC 217 win over Jorge Masvidal.
